Shaoshan is a famous national revolutionary memorial site, a national base for patriotism education, a key national scenic area, and an outstanding tourist city in China. Since the establishment of the Shaoshan Special Branch, through the Anti-Japanese War and the Liberation War, Shaoshan has never ceased its revolutionary struggle.In June 1925, Mao Zedong personally presided over the oath-taking ceremony in Shangwuchang, announcing the establishment of the Shaoshan Special Branch of the Communist Party of China (CPCC), thereby sowing the seeds of revolution in Shaoshan.
