YTMicro's first high-end domain controller chip HA0x has obtained the ASIL-D functional safety product certification.

On May 21, 2024, Jiangsu Yuntu Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (YTMicro for short) announced that its first high-end domain controller chip, YMT32B1HA0x, from the H series has been officially awarded the ISO 26262 ASIL D functional safety product certification by DEKRA, an independent third-party international authoritative automotive inspection, testing, and certification organization. This is the first automotive-grade MCU product in China to obtain the ASIL-D functional safety product certification.

ASIL-D is the highest level specified by the ISO 26262 "Functional Safety of Road Vehicles" international standard, with the most stringent requirements. The certification of the YTM32B1HA0x with ISO 26262 ASIL-D product certification marks the international recognition of YTMicro's capability in developing functional safety for automotive-grade chips, officially advancing to the international leading level.

1. Multi-core high-performance ARM Cortex-M7 core, supporting Lockstep, clock speed of 200-400 MHz, with I-Cache and D-Cache, supporting ECC.

2. Equipped with 2-12MB PFlash and 256KB DFlash, both supporting ECC.

3. Supports multi-channel DMA.

4. Independent ADC module, conversion speed of 2 Msps, 12-bit conversion precision, supporting auto-calibration and sequence injection functions.

5. Ethernet interface with TSN support.

6. 8-bit QSPI interface, supporting a 100 Mbps rate.

7. Supports Information Security HSM.

8. High-speed I/O supporting 2.97 V to 5.5 V power supply.

9. Operating temperature range: -40°C to 125°C.


Core Technologies

1. High-Security, High-Efficiency Chip Architecture Design: Based on the ARM Cortex-M7 and ARMv7-M architecture, featuring a six-stage, in-order, dual-issue superscalar pipeline. It includes single-precision and double-precision floating-point units, instruction and data caches, branch prediction, SIMD support, tightly coupled memory, and supports dual-core Lockstep functionality, meeting the needs of high-security and high-performance applications.

2. Dual-Voltage Domain IO Design Technology: By introducing dual-voltage access in the IO loop, this design enables flexible pairing of high-speed and low-speed IOs, providing adaptable IO voltage and varying speed configurations, thus simplifying application design.

3. On-Chip Fault Detection, Collection, and Reporting Technology: An independent safety module is integrated into the chip to detect, collect, and report various faults within the chip. It can generate safety responses at different levels, enhancing the chip's safety and reliability.

4. On-Chip Flexible Information Security Support: From the basic HCU to the full-featured HSM meeting the Evita Full requirements, the chip offers comprehensive support for information security, effectively addressing system-level information security needs.
