In anticipation of the Auto Show, showcasing core products | YTMicro launches the new "Z" series dedicated micro-motor SoC.

Recently, Jiangsu Yuntu Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (YTMicro for short) has made another significant breakthrough with the successful launch of the new "Z" series dedicated micro-motor SoC. Prior to this, YTMicro had already achieved mass production of 15 chip models from the YTM32B1L and YTM32B1M series. The introduction of the YTM32Z series marks a key step in YTMicro's development of a complete portfolio of automotive-grade products, featuring both "general-purpose MCUs + dedicated SoCs."

According to research data from the China Automotive Chip Industry Alliance, the market shortage for automotive micro-motor dedicated chips is even more severe than that for general-purpose MCUs. Leveraging YTMicro's expertise and long-term experience in automotive-grade chip development, we are proud to introduce the Z series micro-motor dedicated SoC to the market. This will greatly address the current shortage of micro-motor chips and further contribute to the stability of the domestic chip supply chain.

The YTM32Z series is a highly integrated, dedicated SoC chip developed by YTMicro for automotive applications, specifically for DC brushless (BLDC) motors and stepper motors. The YTM32Z series integrates a power management module, LIN transceiver, and four pairs of high and low side pre-drivers on a single chip, enabling it to drive a DC brushless motor or stepper motor with just one chip. This significantly simplifies the motor driver board structure, reduces PCB area, and enhances both stability and reliability, while effectively lowering costs.

· Cortex M0+ 32-bit ARM processor, with a maximum clock speed of 48MHz, compatible with ARM compilation and debugging toolchain

The YTM32Z series has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C, with a junction temperature up to 175°C. It is widely applicable in automotive micro-motor applications such as water pumps, oil pumps, air conditioning compressors, air conditioning blower motors, electronic rearview mirrors, and anti-pinch window motors.

Compared to general-purpose MCUs, YTMicro's Z series products, with their highly integrated compact solutions, significantly reduce design workload while offering the required functionality at a lower BOM cost. At the same time, the number of dedicated SoC peripherals and memory size in the Z series are optimally configured for specific applications, effectively minimizing resource waste.

YTMicro's four major product series—YTM32B1L, YTM32B1M, YTM32B1H, and YTM32Z—will gradually cover 90% of the application functions across the five major vehicle domains.
